En representación de la LXVI Legislatura y a invitación del gobernador constitucional del estado de Veracruz, ingeniero Cuitláhuac García Jiménez, la presidenta de la Mesa Directiva, diputada Cecilia Guevara, participó en los actos realizados con motivo del 212 Aniversario del inicio de la Independencia de México.
En primer término, la legisladora asistió al tradicional Grito, celebrado en la explanada de la Plaza Lerdo de la capital del estado y encabezado por el mandatario estatal, al que concurrieron cientos de veracruzanas y veracruzanos.
Posteriormente, este 16 de septiembre asistió a la Guardia de Honor ante el monumento de Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla y al Desfile Cívico Militar en el que participaron el gobernador Cuitláhuac García Jiménez, mandos militares, el secretario de Gobierno, Eric Cisneros Burgos, y la titular de la Fiscalía General del Estado, Verónica Hernández Giadáns.
