La política de atención integral a los menos favorecidos se hace patente en esta administración, al proveer infraestructura carretera de calidad para que incluso las localidades más pequeñas estén comunicadas.
Ejemplo de lo anterior es la pavimentación del camino La Gloria–Jareros, en el municipio de Úrsulo Galván, que fue realizada con una inversión de 31 millones de pesos y beneficia a 31 mil personas; así tienen la oportunidad de reactivar su economía y revalorizar la producción del campo.
Durante la supervisión de la obra realizada por la Secretaría de Infraestructura y Obras Públicas (SIOP), el gobernador Cuitláhuac García Jiménez resaltó que al ser la industria azucarera la principal fuente de trabajo de esta demarcación, dicho tramo permite el transporte rápido y seguro de la caña al ingenio La Gloria y, posteriormente, al mercado.
Acompañado por el titular de la dependencia, Elio Hernández Gutiérrez, y los subsecretarios Fernando Elías Guevara y Jesús Enrique Trujeque Rivera, expresó que el apoyo al presidente en la consulta de revocación de mandato es debido a los resultados de la Cuarta Transformación.
“En Veracruz respaldamos al presidente de la República, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, y por eso con orgullo decimos que hemos transformado las zonas rurales y establecimos récord en obra pública”.
Añadió que debido a la contingencia sanitaria y posteriormente la veda electoral muchas acciones de Gobierno no han podido ser inauguradas de manera oficial; sin embargo, el trabajo nunca cesó.
“La gente respaldó a los gobiernos de la Cuarta Transformación y en respuesta aquí están las obras que hemos venido haciendo; estamos cumpliéndole al estado, pero hasta acá no vienen el Reforma, El Universal, ni todos esos medios que estuvieron tirándole al presidente”.
