Avión presidencial se pondrá en renta y será administrado por empresa de Sedena: presidente

El presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador anunció que el avión presidencial será entregado a la empresa Olmeca-Maya-Mexica, a cargo de la Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (Sedena), para su administración; informó que la aeronave podrá ser rentada.

“Que se utilice para que no esté sin volar. Que pueda tener ingresos para pagar sus gastos y el mantenimiento, entonces ese avión presidencial estará en Santa Lucía”, explicó.

En conferencia de prensa matutina, el mandatario dijo que el avión podría ser utilizado para vuelos largos, como Quintana Roo o Baja California, y se conservará en las condiciones en las que fue heredado por las administraciones de Enrique Peña Nieto y Felipe Calderón.

El trámite de renta avanza a través del diálogo con el secretario de la Defensa Nacional, Luis Cresencio Sandoval González, aunque no se descarta la posibilidad de contar con el apoyo de empresas para que se ponga en servicio lo más pronto posible.

Precisó que su venta se ha complicado por la cantidad de lujos y no sería una opción viable reconvertirlo por los altos costos que eso representaría.

“No se ha podido vender porque lo hicieron muy extravagante y está hecho a la medida, es decir, lo hicieron como lo solicitaron, y darle otro uso, reconvertirlo, (…) ya no es posible; costaría muchísimo, inclusive hasta técnicamente sería complicado por el material que tiene”, explicó.

Reafirmó que, si se lograra vender el avión, no sería a precio de remate y solo considerarán ofertas que respeten el precio de avalúo.

Actualmente la empresa Olmeca-Maya-Mexica de la Sedena opera el Aeropuerto Internacional Felipe Ángeles y administrará el Tren Maya y los aeropuertos de Tulum, Chetumal y Palenque.
