El presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador conversó este jueves con el enviado presidencial especial de Estados Unidos para el Clima, John Kerry.
Energías renovables y medio ambiente fueron los temas centrales de la videoconferencia, en la que ambas partes hicieron compromisos puntuales que el 17 de junio se darán a conocer en el Foro de las Principales Economías sobre Energía y Cambio Climático, detalló el jefe del Ejecutivo en un mensaje en sus redes sociales.
Como parte del anuncio, el mandatario adelantó que se llevará a cabo de manera virtual entre jefes de Estado y de gobierno.
Acompañaron al presidente en la llamada, el secretario de Relaciones Exteriores, Marcelo Ebrard Casaubon y el jefe de Unidad para América del Norte, Roberto Velasco.
La delegación estadounidense estuvo integrada por el embajador de Estados Unidos en México, Kenneth Salazar.
