“Quiero levantar mi voz como músico, pedagogo y protestar por la gran cantidad de mentiras y ataques a un presidente (Andrés Manuel López Obrador) que es motivo de mi gran profunda admiración, por su gran conocimiento de México y su honestidad a toda prueba”, expresó el músico y compositor Gastón Lafourcade, padre de la cantante Natalia Lafourcade.
Mediante un video, el pedagogo afirmó que es la primera vez que se siente representado por un Presidente: “que tiene como meta el engrandecimiento de México y sus gobernados, sin distinción de género y origen”.
